Sad day for track star and five-time Olympic medalist Marion Jones. Jones was sentenced to 6 months in prison for lying to federal prosecutors about her past steroid use.
Last October, when she announced her retirement, she also confessed to betraying the trust of her fans after years of denying she used performance enhancing drugs.
Tough lesson to learn. I'm sure the judge was trying to set an example out of her. Either way, sad professional and personal downfall for someone that so many once looked up to...
